Hello everyone, it’s Yangzera and I’m back today with a report for this weekend’s World Championship Qualifier Open tournaments! After a sunday packed with action and amazing games, we have crowned another three great players who will attend to the upcoming World Championship. So without further ado, let’s take a look at the WCQ top 4 lineups and decklists!
APAC
Top 4 - Cruz

Cruz’s lineup features the only The Poro King among all top 4s and shows that any deck can realistically place very well.
Top 4 - ABG Belcoot

Runner-Up - Zetavzee

Champion - FnP J01
10 cards

22 cards
18 cards

31 cards
J01 had this win coming for a long time. Arguably being one of the best players of all time, he cements his spot at the upcoming World Championship and is already at the top of many people’s power rankings.
EMEA
Top 4 - EnzoLeCoco
25 cards
15 cards

Top 4 - Ultraman1996
24 cards
16 cards
17 cards
23 cards
29 cards
11 cards
Ultraman had almost the same lineup as J01, but it was just not the day for his Seraphine Sett to work, and he ended up losing to the EMEA champion.
Runner up - УВЫ Jokerge
22 cards
18 cards
20 cards
20 cards
15 cards
25 cards
Jokerge had a pretty good anti midrange lineup, but his strategy fell flat in the finals, when his opponent had none of the decks he was aiming to beat, on top of seeing himself on counter matchups.
Champion - ll Böksor ll
11 cards
29 cards
21 cards
19 cards

15 cards
Despite the controversy around EMEA’s champion, we can’t deny the fact that Böksor winning back to back opens makes him one of the strongest players going into this world championship. His lineup featured a carbon copy of one of the decks he played in the first open - SI Seraphine, and it surprisingly only dropped 2 games out of the 14 he played with the deck.
Americas
Top 4 - Majiinbae
15 cards
25 cards
31 cards
9 cards
26 cards
14 cards
With very interesting tech choices across all three decks, Majiin secured top 4 very comfortably, winning almost every round by 2-0 up until he eventually faced the Americas champion.
Top 4 - S1mbak
25 cards
15 cards
22 cards
18 cards
23 cards
17 cards
S1mbak’s lineup is very cool because of the triple Eclectic Collection Heimer Norra deck but I just dislike the Jarvan IV Shen choice. It feels like the lineup demands a Nilah ban.
Runner Up - NNT JoJo
19 cards
21 cards
29 cards
11 cards
16 cards
24 cards
JoJo’s lineup was very well built and he was the last hope of Brazil who managed to get 8 people in the top 16 last sunday but unfortunately that day was someone else’s.
Champion - AjTehPro
26 cards
14 cards
23 cards
17 cards
31 cards
9 cards
Aj had a very similar lineup to what he had in the first Open of the season, and the decks were virtually the same, only swapping Warden for Formidables. After breathtaking games, he managed to 2-1 JoJo for the back to back win and secure his spot at worlds.
