Off-meta decks can provide a breath of fresh air when you want a break from popular decks like Janna Nilah, Scouts, and Galio Jarvan IV. While they may not be as powerful as the meta decks, they bring an element of surprise and can give you a slight advantage against your opponents.

Here are six different off-meta decks that you can use for your ladder climb.

Popularized by RickoRex, the Gnar Yuumi deck relies on an Overwhelm win condition. It aims to beat the popular Janna Nilah deck by setting up powerful attacks that can be difficult for the opponent to counter.

This deck uses Bone Club and Yuumi to buff the stats of low-cost Overwhelm units like Ruthless Raider and Tusk Speaker. Sharesies allows you to transfer these attachments to other attacking units, creating a stronger attack that can push more Nexus damage.

Battle Fury serves as a game-closing tool when played on an Overwhelm unit, setting the stage for a devastating attack to secure the win.

Taliyah Malphite

Taliyah Malphite has maintained a decent win rate on the ranked ladder, particularly due to its effectiveness against mid-range decks. This deck can establish a solid board presence with Salt Spire or Dragon Roost, followed by Taliyah to create a copy of that landmark.

This not only advances your champions' level-up but also builds a strong board, enabling you to launch powerful attacks that force the opponent to block to preserve their Nexus health.

The deck includes Desert Duel and Sunburst to eliminate key opponent units. Quicksand and Celestial Wonder help slow down their attacks and buy more time until Taliyah Malphite secures its win condition.

Cake has been using this list for their climb to Master rank. Bard Norra centers around planting Chimes and Mysterious Portals in your deck, creating a more potent late-game. Your Mysterious Portals from Norra, Junk Construct, Portal Scholar, and Portalpalooza play a role in keeping up with the opponent's board development and setting up aggressive attacks.

Gleaming Lantern reduces the cost of your Fae units, allowing you to build a wider board of units and start chipping away at the opponent's Nexus.

As the game progresses, you'll activate more Chimes, buffing up the units in your hand. With a leveled Bard on the board, you'll buff board units and set up more potent attacks, making it challenging for the opponent to shut it down.
