The last Open of the season is in the book and what an exciting one it was. FloppyMudkip becomes the first player to win THREE major Riot tournaments, showing that hard work really does pay off and that LoR is a game of insanely high skill expression. TippyTipz made yet another finals appearance cementing himself as one of the best in the game and CardGamer puts up another excellent finish after his open win to start the season that should see him qualifying for the World Championship via season points. It will be interesting to see where the dust settles on the qualifying race as it was very close amongst a number of players coming into this open.
Previews of the new set are scheduled to start today and run all week long as we look to start our second season and a whole new race to the World Championship at the end of the year. Redpup has been dominant all season but we have seen the rise of teams like ABG and now also NNT onto the scene. I for one have had my competitive spirit revitalized by all the passion and dedication that we have seen from all the players this season and will be looking to make a run at qualifying
