Hey everyone, Yangzera here, and today I’ll bring you all decks that you should look out for in the upcoming Eternal season! Of course this list is tentative since we are receiving ten new cards and potential balance changes this tuesday, but considering they don’t shake the meta up too much, there’s already very strong things to be aware of so let’s dive into it!
Sunken Temple Ruined Rex
25 cards
15 cards

29 cards
11 cards

The eternal card pool brings us back to Ruined Rex, which is an insane card when paired with Sunken Temple
, Janna
, Exalted Cloudwinder
or Slipstream
. I expect this to be very strong if there is no change to Temple in the eternal patch. Unfortunately i think Twisted Fate
is not good enough to make the cut over Janna
or Nilah
, but you can still play him to remember how good he is when leveled.
Ezreal
24 cards
16 cards

24 cards
16 cards

This one is pretty self explanatory. Ezreal do be a pretty good card, and there is a chance he shakes things up if there are no balance patches. With Samira
out of the picture, the “Seraphine’s partner” slot is up for grabs, and Ezreal
is first in line here so the deck doesn’t need to hope for a Catastrophe
finish.
Invoke
36 cards
4 cards

38 cards
2 cards

This archetype is pretty self explanatory: with smallvoke coming back into play with Spacey Sketcher and Startipped Peak
aswell as Mountain Scryer
, Cosmic Call
based decks can shine again.
Though this time I suspect Sump Monument will be very underwhelming as a card due to the increased importance of explorer cards to pop Sunken Temple
, so maybe refrain from those versions in the beginning and see how the meta develops.
Discard
19 cards
21 cards

27 cards
13 cards

There should be more to this archetype then just the old cards since we can now Rummage into multiple Windborne Mariner
s, but I’ll limit my initial decks to older versions because they prove themselves strong every time.
Timelines
21 cards
19 cards

This deck is mostly unphased by the Innovative Blacksmith nerf since it’s transforming into something else anyway, so I expect Timelines to be a very strong contender for a meta staple in this eternal season.
