Hello everyone, Yangzera here! It’s that time of the season, day 1! Everyone’s got their brews and ideas so I compiled the coolest I could build to share with you all. As I find more decks over the course of the day I’ll keep updating this article so without further ado, let’s get to it!
Volibear Decks
18 cards

I believe every single Volibear deck should follow this core of cards and most likely add one or two ramp cards. The idea is that the strategy lives and dies by how good and consistent round 5 Rhond, the Magma Serpent
is so you can ramp into Volibear
himself right after.
Volibear Aatrox
14 cards
26 cards

There’s a chance you also want one or two copies of Buried in Ice here.
Volibear Illaoi
22 cards
18 cards

Why did we let Illaoi have 9 health on round 4 again?
Volibear Nasus
15 cards
25 cards

Titanic dog can be super jank, but I do think there’s a chance this deck is playable, it’s just a matter of how easy it is to make him a 8/8.
Volibear Aurelion Sol
13 cards
27 cards

For the first time Freljord Aurelion Sol doesn’t need a million terrible AoE spells to have a shot at viability.
Volibear Janna
14 cards
26 cards

Maybe this deck wants Iascylla, but I don’t see her fitting in without changing the build around itself and how it’s intended to play out.
Janna Decks
Janna is infinitely more versatile, being able to slot into pretty much anything and be a good card because mana cheating = good. There’s a chance she’s even stronger in unit focused tempo decks because of how strong those discounts are for units.
Janna Samira
32 cards
8 cards

This plays at a much faster pace and uses Janna’s level 1 text to cheat out a ton of units and tempo.
Janna Jayce Burn
10 cards
30 cards

This is much more cope then any other aggressive Janna deck, but I love it.
Janna Targon Elusives
20 cards
20 cards

There’s a high chance that this archetype will be strong.
Janna Master Yi
25 cards
15 cards

A bunch of Quick Attack units with Sonic Wave has to be at least playable, right?
Janna Nilah
21 cards
19 cards

This is the deck I’ll personally be playing to climb today.
Nilah Decks
Nilah Yi
27 cards
13 cards

The competitive version of this will probably always end up similar to the next deck.
Nilah Nami(NX)
7 cards
33 cards

I chose Noxus as my second region for Nilah Nami because of the spell pool but you can definitely play a more elusive focused deck with Ionia
Nilah Nami(IO)
30 cards
10 cards

This is more likely what you might end up when making the Ionia version
Nilah Samira
18 cards
22 cards

I copied this from Bajatak, it’s literally Samira Fizz but with Nilah and her package instead.
Watery Grave Decks
Mill Combo
33 cards
7 cards

This is an Infinipatrons special, play at your own risk.
Regular Deep
17 cards
23 cards

This is just regular deep with Watery Grave sprinkled around, looks okay-ish as a finisher with Maokai
.
Wildfire Decks
All-In Wildfire
15 cards
25 cards

This is certainly one of the decks ever created, but it will lose to a single Explorer card.
Catalogue Wildfire
27 cards
13 cards

There’s not much to do with Catalogue on Standard after Whispered Words rotated, and the Explorer cards make this much worse than it already is.
Fatigue Wildfire
11 cards
29 cards

Wildfire is more of a side win condition here, but it’s a way to close games out.
