Legends of Runeterra Balance Patch 4.7 has arrived, and Siren Song is no more. Time to warm up for the next bouts of high-stakes LoR!

Howdy Champs!

Balance Patch 4.7 has arrived at Legends of Runeterra, and Siren SongSiren Song is no more. Time to warm up for the next bouts of high-stakes LoR!

$2000 Mastering Runeterra Open, July 29

As usual, we'll open this patch's competitive cycle with our Mastering Runeterra Open, taking place on July 29 – that's to say, one week before Riot's Runeterra Open on August 5, which may be worth remembering is this Season's Worlds Qualifier Open.

This tournament is open to all LoR players (no need to be a Mastering Runeterra subscriber) with an Americas account and has an entry fee of $20.

Head over to the tournament's Matcherino page for the full details, and join the fray!

New Patch, New LoR Meta

With Siren Song gone, the already strong decks that were overshadowed by Fizz and his overbuffed one-drop crew are now rising to the top – yet in the lead we find a new deck: Targon Teemo, for which Yangzera will have a detailed deck guide in the coming days. And Heimer Jayce is also looking very strong; Sorry has just written a detailed deck guide for those of you that enjoy spamming turrets.

If you want a full overview of the current meta, Herko dived into the LoR ladder data and wrote about what's working in his latest "By the Numbers," and on Monday we'll have Leer's Meta Report to give you the latest updates on which are the best decks in Runeterra.

Mastering Runeterra Podcast, Ep #112

Jae and Bae share their respective Runeterra Open experiences and strategies, how they expect the LoR meta to shape up after the recent balance patch, and how they plan to prep for the World Championship Qualifier taking place in two weeks!
