Hey everyone, it’s Yangzera here and I come with a report from the Early Access event! A lot of decks were tested and a lot of new strategies discovered today and there are a few very strong contenders for day 1 powerhouses! Let’s get into the decks, shall we?
Elder Dragon

Elder Dragon is really good, and h may be the second best champion of the expansion. That’s not due to himself, though, and is mostly due to its origin ability. Buffing up your minions is crazy useful, especially when you roll challenger, tough or deathless, which makes you able to take over the board very easily.
Morgana

Morgana is arguably the best champion of the set, but also the one with the least deckbuilding potential, in my opinion. She’s pretty decent with her package, but it’s not crazy good to just splash anywhere in a deck. The deck needs to already have some synergy with her level up condition to do it somewhat consistently.
That being said, expect me to reach Master very soon with Seraphine Morgana.
Mordekaiser

Mordekaiser is the worst of the three, but still a good card nonetheless. He’s a very good engine when on board and keep in mind that the units you summon from his effect very often are re-summoned before they die. This makes cards like Viego or Mordekaiser himself that are resummoned “see” their original copy die. As a result, there are some very cool 2-card combos with mordekaiser to try out. He’s very susceptible to hard removal when outside of Noxus, which could be a bummer for Nasus and Viego builds.
