111 Legends of Runeterra players came to compete in yesterday's Mastering Runeterra Open. It was taken down by none other than that Mastering Runeterra's own Co-Owner and Seasonal winner MajiinBae. He was kind enough to write an article detailing what he would be playing and why before he won almost $1000 with that exact Line Up. You can still read it here "What you should be playing", he's also going to be writing a tournament report detailing his win that will come out this Tuesday with a follow up article on what you should be playing for the Runeterra Open on Thursday! Mastering Runeterra Pro Team member Aikado made the top 4 as well in what was a great showing for the team looking to reassert it's self as one of the best in the game.
Below are the stats for all players in the tournament. We can see that Leona Samira was the most played deck, having a great showing on the ladder last week. Followed be Ashe Leblanc and Gwen Quinn. These decks should all be considered likely opponents in next weekends open and we just so happen to have guides written on all of them if you wish to learn to play them or combat them here!
This carries over quite a bit into the top 8, with 5 of the 8 players bringing Leona Samira! and three players each on Karma Sett, Ashe Leblanc, Fizz Samira, and Jack Seraphine. This means all 8 players had Samira in their Line Ups.
