New (and big) balance patch, new meta!
Here are five decks with recently buffed cards that, 24 hours after the patch, are pulling good results in Platinum and above, according to our favorite datamancers, Balco & Legna.
Do take it all with generous grains of salt, though (data samples are minuscule; decks are unrefined; pilots are unsure what they are fighting against, etc).
Also, for context:
- Ahri Kennen still seems to rule the meta, with Lonesome Pantheon and Draven Rumble trailing not so far behind. It's not surprising (refined decks always have the lead early on), but if previous Meta's royalty still reigns, then new decks that do well against one (or several) of them should see increased play rate soon,
- May Azir forgive us, but Buried Sun Disc decks (still) look like utter trash (as in, less than 40% winrate overall), inflating most other decks' performances
Kindred Viego
I know what you're thinking: "Don't do that… don't give me hope."
That's what the numbers say, though: across a not-so-tiny data sample (from Plat+), Kindred Viego is among the best performing new decks! =)
Seems to fold to Poros and Ahri Kennen, while having game against Elise Trundle.
18 cards
22 cards
Iceborn Poros, aka Championless Freljord P&Z
If you've been on the Ladder (or Normal, too!), you've seen them: Daring Poros with frickin' Iceborn Legacy. Currently the most played deck at Plat+ (by a huge margin), and making enough waves that some cries for nerfs are already being heard on Twitter.
May be a bit too soon, though (and not just on grounds of, well, it still being too soon), but because the deck seems to have a really hard time against both Ahri Kennen and Draven Rumble.
Poros seem very strong into Elise Trundle, though, and also into Darkness and Kindred Viego.

Iceborn ARAM, aka Elise Trundle
Cephalopod and BaJAtakk swear by this Control deck, featuring The Howling Abyss, and its performance is more than decent across a fairly large number of games.
The deck goes for a somewhat similar game plan as Poros above (Iceborn Legacy making spiders fat in this case), but aiming for the late game via Trundle, Abyss and board wipes.
It's even against the Queen and King; suffers in front of Kindred Viego and Poros; does really nasty things to Darkness and Lurkers.
17 cards
23 cards
Trundle Tryndamere FTR
Yet another deck to make Freljord proud, although going for Feel The Rush rather than Iceborn Legacy, and adding Concurrent Timelines
Seems underdog (but only slightly) to Ahri Kennen and Poros,
14 cards
26 cards
Elise Kindred Vi Sentinels
No, yes, really: another Kindred deck doing quite well! Fairly small data sample, yet showing promise thus far.

Still out of luck
In spite of their buffs, it looks like (thus far) brewers haven't found how to make…
- Deep (Nautilus Maokai)
- Nightfall (Diana Nocturne)
- Ashe Leblanc
- Anivia SI
… work.
Still, too early to tell!
