Round start: Deal 1 to the enemy nexus
Starting off with a bit of a bang! The front end of this isn’t even that poorly statted, and a 6/5 for 4 that constantly pings them down each round is a fearsome threat! It has impact so you can chip in faster if you need to as well, which also enables your other Evolvers (?) going forward. There are few things that concisely deal with a 6/5 as it stands besides hard removal, this one is one heck of a threat to start off with. I could see it easily making a plunder list or even just aggro outside of it’s pre-made archetype decks.

Medium frog into big frog that explodes things! This one is a bit less efficient and less of a lasting ability, but strong all the same. The ice shard effect that goes off without opponents having a chance to respond to it can be very powerful, knowing that he’s going to likely pair with Freljord with Blighted Ravine in it, this could be a very good ‘build-your-own-board-wipe’ frog. Body is indeed huge on the flip side as well, and for plunder pairings he does have impact to chip in through chumps, also cool to see a bigger version of the frog from League of Legends here.

It feels like he’s missing impact, I don’t think he would be obscenely overpowered if he had it even. I may be underestimating this little guy and how much this would be a powerful unit in aggro decks. A lot of the time already the burn and aggro lists do want to open-attack on 2 when they have the token, which sets him up nicely. Not to mention plunder is able to flip him at will pretty much. I guess he just looks less impactful to me for some reason.

When an ally transforms, fully heal it and give it +1|+1
This is a nice effect, but something I’m surprised to see at all. Going into this my thought was a lot more that evolvers are going to flip almost immediately, so the thought of healing them never occured to me. This line may be more for things such as Gnar and Udyr, and the small additional buff is pretty potent. Terrordactyl as a 7/6 going into turn 5 is a huge threat, not to mention the Mammoth or Murkwolf ragers! I think that the Chief here depends on how good Gnar is as to whether or not she’ll see much play, but she slots into the evolver deck solidly all the same.
Conclusions
Terrordactyl is terrifying, and the lizard could be a bigger threat than I expect it to be, a lot of cool stuff today that has me very hyped to see tomorrow’s new stuff, we’re almost there everyone!
